just got my gf a ds lite for xmas just wondering how to go about geting downloaded games to work on it ?
are these r4 cards still the best thing for that sort of thing ?
i know nothing about the DS so any pointers at all will be helpful

yep TT, do to deal extreme (http://www.dealextreme.com/products.dx/category.604) and pick the best for what you want- ( better than r4 out now)
Grab a mini sd card- loads of games ( just google nds roms)- load em on and bobs ur mums fiance !

i got a toptoy ds card and a 4gb sd card wasnt as cheap as the site as you posted
but i got it from the uk so no waiting for usa postage but will bookmark that site
the lot cost £20 inc postage
been on demonoid and found lots of ds packs so all is well :biggrin

When did you get your ds card and memory my sister keeps asking me where to get them from so she can get trhem for the kids

I got my r4 card last year around xmas for the kids...saved me a fortune..
Just google for r4 card with micro sd but im sure you can get newer version which are cheaper now...but for around 20-25 quid you will get a card and micro sd...i think there is a post above providing info on cheaper versions....but i know for certain the r4 card is great....

Many thanks for the info wobbs..been meaning to get hold of a ds card as I've been putting it off for ages..reading this thread reminded me..be nice to have a few more new games....:ok
