Freesat is it encripfed or will I beable to get it on a satellite receiver or will I need a FREESAT BOX ?

as far as i am aware its not scramlbled
i am able to get the freesat chans incl bbchd /and itv hd with my passion hd stb

You wont get CH4 or 5 on a normal satellite receiver though mate .............

i use an old sky card in my tm9100 to clear c4 c5 and slythree with ccamd :ok

Channel 4 is now FTA, and all its extra bits 4+1 etc.
You can get Freesat programmes on any Sat receiver, but not ITVHD on all of them as it is not a listed channel.( on a Freesat receiver you have to press a red button whilst watching ITV!)
The only other absence on a standard Sat receiver is the Fressat EPG, so if you use a PVR its not much use.
Freesat on comp with a DVB S2 tuner card, and DVBVIEWER software gives excellent HD ITV and BBCHD pics!!
