info on tomtom's

my cousin has a tomtom 1 had it about a year never updated it
it don't show speed cams he said you have to pay more for that ???


could some tell me if he doe's have to pay to have speed cams added ?
and how to update or anything he can do to improve it from the basic tomtom 1

You 'should' pay for the speedcam updates, although they aren't veryy expensive, but you'll also fine the files all over the internet. All you do is copy them across to the TomTom via USB and then activate them in the POI settings on the unit. Once you've set them up, it's 30 seconds work to update them when new files are released :ok
