Whats a good webcam with good video and picture quality.Ive got one there but it no good plus when you use it theres about a 5second delay

Am after 1 with a good video quality found 2 so far but not realy sure what to look for

I installed a WebCam a week ago Sunday. On the Monday, Windows XP would not display a desktop. It was still running as the screen saver was operating and I oculd acccess applications through the DOS window. I did not install any other software after the webcam.


I took it to the people who had built the computer and it took them five days to solve the problem. The solution was to install a new hard drive and migrate all the old content to the new drive. When the old drive was put into another pc, the desktop disappeared on that pc.

When I went to pick up the computer, they told me that this was the third instance of serious disruption to pcs which web cams seemed to be the source. I am sure that there are lots of people who have a happy life using web cams. There's a small number of us who have had calamitous outcomes.

Take care - see it working on a similar configuration before buying.

ive got a logitech quick cam express which ive used no problem for years until lately when it just crashes for no apparent reason..the only thing i can relate to the problem is my new'ish saitek backlit keybord which lights up when the camera crashes..not sure if its a compat problem, a simple usb connection problem or just the cameras age :confused
