Going out tomorrow to get a ps3 sick of x360 failing, spending more time on old xbox than on the 360, phoned ms up and although it`s 9months old they asked if it had been opened or fixed before as they were now checking the machines when theyre returned for modified if they have been they return them unfixed along with a bill etc....so angry with the indian guy - ms again.
So anyone got a ps3 here, what games to go for with the pack out of..
genji
heavenly sword
motor storm
resistance fall of man
ridge racer...
get to choose 2 or 3 depends if i go for the £399 or the £425 pack
also get a extra controller and 2 blu ray movies.

Well I'm waiting for a certainty on mainly racing and footy games before I persuade the missus (well gf in fact lol) that we NEED one lol.
Problems aside, I think if I do get a consold it will most likely be the 360 Elite.
Mainly on the basis that Sony falsely claimed this that and the other about the capability of the PS2. And 90% of games simply cant ultilise the capilability of what Sony claim the PS2 could do.
Plus the 360 seems to have far better titles available for it.
Then again the graphics ability seems not to come into things as much as it used to these days. Need I mention the Wii?.

have ps3, played motor storm, resistance fall of man, ridge racer. would recommend fall of man, just for the weapons u get the second time round. still waiting for gt4, thought gt3 looked good til i played the demo. Just started to play warhawk, which is an online game. jericho is a treat on the eyes, cant wait for cod 4 wot with using the sixaxis (same as wiimote).
i prefer ps3 over 360 due to the fact that everything is already included in the ps3 ie bluetooth, wi-fi, blu-ray, hdmi. where as with the 360 u need to buy a wi-fi adaptor, a seperate drive to view hd-dvd, i no the elite now has hdmi but still no built in wi-fi or hd-dvd drive, y ms would leave out their backed high def format drive beats me.

Just brought resistance fall of man from ebay for £13 inc postage, looked at it yesterday in cex and it looks great, also got motor storm and ridge racer not played them yet.
This console is silent unlike the x360 with wind turbines etc, was in game yesterday and talked a woman out of buying a x360 for her kids xmas told her to do a net search for red eye etc and she then brought a ps3.

Me thinks Blu-ray will be the format that wins in the end ????
