Here is a complete rundown of my problem, in case there are any genius's (genii?) out there who can help me before I decide it's a mobo prob and bin it.
I have a Powerslim 600 laptop, model P93. Pheonix Bios 4, release 6. I have read the BIOS FAQS page and did not find a solution.
The error message I get is:
"0251: System CMOS checksum bad - Default configuration used
ERROR
Invalid System Configuaration data - run configuration utility
ERROR
Warning :IRQ not configured-PCI
Bus:00, device:03, function:02....

Press <F2> to enter SETUP
Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to Setup

I changed the CMOS battery and reset the BIOS but I still get the same error. The old battery also still appeared full when tested.
Sometimes I also get a red box that says "save to disk partition not found, save to disk partition disabled, run fdisk"
