Teddy you have'nt changed mate :ok , can you please find out if i would have to pay any council tax etc if i bought it and parked it on the local field, mostyn estates up here would obivously say its the wrong colour, or it does not match the victorian theme.

M8 my nan owned a caravan and had many happy out of term hols in it fetching water etc etc - also back in 95 i won a 10grand caravan which i got rid of in 02, only had a few holidays in it myself, but i made a few quid and it cost me a few quid.
I used to let the site where i placed it rent it out for me to cover ground rent etc first few years made me a couple of grand on top of ground rent then - ground rent, gas , electricity, electrical checks and cleaning and insurance went up and it began costing me, they would charge me £11 for changing a 20p light bulb because i wasnt there and when people were in it, they would go to the office etc , one season i had 2 replacement shower trays , a tv nicked and the main window put through, then the last straw was...i went when nobody should have been in cost £38 on train and when i got there , there was a family , the site apparantly didnt know anyone was is...so either they had been in it before got a key cut or the site did know and wasnt paying me etc...i got rid soon after.
But i loved the hols as a kid.

I loved caravan holidays as a kid. And when we went away last week it brought back all those childhood memories back.
I certainly did'nt miss being freezing cold and condensation on the quilt in the mornings lol.

well static caravans ain't cheap now and the rent on some of these sites is ridiculous.
sheila and my sister went in the summer to presthaven sands with all the kids (i have one and she has 5 lol) and it has changed since i was there last the kids had a ball and even though the weather was cr*p there was loads to do and not just the arcades, all the kids had a set amount a day so if they blew it in the arcade it was down to them, the only thing is think sheila was used a bit running around with the kids and they pooled their money ( hmm think my sister done better with 5 kids ) also when i went down i was buying drinks although she was getting all hers out of the pooled money:tsk
Elizabeth has one thing to remember it by, she ended up in plaster for 5 weeks lol and just started her taekwondo again but that's another story

I can remember going to fetch the water from the tap and having to go and have a shower in the shower block - that usually had a turd in one of the shower cubicles, the toilet was fun as well not - bosting to go at 10pm at night and you would either have to wait for others in the caravan to go with you or in a bucket, i was caught once peeing out of the bedroom window:icon17: aged around 12 or so...by the family opposite coming out of there door...
