The ONLY downside to hd broadcasting for me that comes to mind is recording hd and the ability to view it back in hd. Anyways that part aside.
With what receiver gear available today what if any are the options for recording hd and then watching hd back?. I know of cause that hd gear is expensive compared to nornal receiver ger etc.
I take it the Sly hb box can record and then view back in hd right?.
But are there any options for storing the hd recordings to dvd or anything?.
Is it not possable to split say a film to 2 dvd-r's (to retain full hd playback) to view either on a pc or via a hd dvd player.
One final thing, (I'm in one of those wandering about things mood lol) if it's possable to download hd programs\films and put them on a normal dvd and play them on a pc. Can the same process then work on a hd compatable dvd player?.
