note about pms

i am assuming that the other thread about the wrongful use of pm's is aimed at myself. i used the pm system to the moderator in question because it was a personal message to him asking about his future attendance at a venue or two. the reason i had done this was i had sent a couple of people to buy from him satelitte stuff but on two or three times he was not at the aforementioned venues and the friends of mine had had wasted journeys. they did eventually buy stuff from him and were pleased with the advice given. if i have misread the situation and it has nothing to do with me i apologise. if there is somewhere on the webpage that mentions the moderators attendance at venues then i certainly could not find it. again apologies to all in question for any offence but it certainly confuses me and all i was hoping to stop a wasted journey or two, melling

it was aimed at the people who are abusing the pm system by asking generic questions to info already available on the boards..

Melling you can be rest assured it was nothing to do with you at all.. So please dont think that it is.. Its a generalisation and is for All to take note of.. we have no Qualms with members pming each other to see if they goin the pub or have the lastest copy of vanity fair etc... Its specifically aimed at Other support issues,"my dreambox has died help me" .. etc.. when all answers are on the forum etc..
