Hi
After a row with my daughter about an astronomic phone bill I came across this project. I took an old phone, made this device from a few resistors and the case of an old dsl microfilter and hey presto free internet phone calls on a regular phone.

It all seems to work

Skype allows you to make free telephone calls pc to pc to anyone with the skype software loaded on their machine. If you get all your mates to load it up you don't need to use land lines to call them.

Its a bit of a bind having to be by the pc to make a call.

The above device allows you to plug a phone (cordless or wired) into your pc and make the call from the phone instead of your pc. Just like a regular phone. Until recently Voip phones have been a bit pricey but I have just spotted this deal at maplins.
