Win XP Problems

Has anyone had this problem yet?

I have a copy of WIN XP and had a problem booting up the error I get is
NTLDR missing, luckily I had a Ghost image to reinstall to.

I had discovered that there was a Win Xp update showing on my task bar, My daughter install the update and same problem NTLDR file missing.

Could it be that MS have started to disable copy programs??

I have turned off auto updates just to be sure!!!!!!

I have had that ages ago and i have legit windows xp


I booted up using winxp cd

then went into recovery console and typed


FIXMBR C:
FIXBOOT C:
COPY 'CDDrive':\I386\NTLDR C:\
COPY 'CDDrive':\I386\NTDETECT.COM C:\
Reboot


which solved the problem.
