M$ are banning the 360

M$ have started banning modded 360 from live but am glad i I never use live well only to download the odd demo but what will happen when the system needs updating to play the latest games http://www.xbox-scene.com/

I was thinking of buying a second dvd drive and butting my original firmware on it and just playing backup on my modded drive

i would wait for a few weeks microsofts last attempt to ban ppl from live ended up a right fookup

they ended up baning ppl with unmoded xbox's and it was scraped with in a few days (looking at the post on xbox scene loads are saying they got banned and there box isnt modded )

if you do get a dvd drive make sure its the same one model as your mod

I'm with you on that for online gaming, you can't beat a PC for FPS games which is all I play online, but I will miss the demo downloads tho. And Billy G will have to manage without my XBL sub next year - a tough call but I think he'll survive.

Is it just modded FW that is banned? Anyone heard anything about the various modchips being detected and banned?

mate all them mod chips contain is the firmware on a chip so them consoles will get live banned


there are also reports that poeple are getting banned who have not even modded there boxes lol ms may have made another fookup lol
