In the first real block buster of the summer - just before Pirates of the Carib3 , Die Hard 4, Transformers , Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer ... We see Spiderman 3... which weighs in at 2hr 19min , this action fantasy adventure film pretty much picks up where Spiderman 2 left off...
I sat watching this movie this afternoon with my 12yr old nephew
My Nephew his comments were cool effects but a little boring in some places, and his mate were pretty much the same, mine were...
Rumoured to be the most expensive movie ever made, you can see why the effects in this movie are fantastic but nothing we aint seen before, the actors and actresses are in this movie that are in Spidey 1 and 2.
The story basically is....
His girlfriend is getting jealous of all the attention spidey is getting after all she is supposedly the star..a strange object falls from space that turns spidey to a darker spiderman.
The man who killed Peter Parkers grandfather in the first movie is back in, escaped from jail running jumps over a fence and ends up becoming becoming sandman the effects are great but watch the movie and you will see something strange, spidey fights him and struggles then gets him into water where he turns to sludge, but he`s not dead he will be back later ... later he is back and all hell breaks loose yeah right - thats why the fight he supposedly gets killed (sand man) but returns again to talk to spiderman:confused to explain that it was a accident why is grandfather was shot....
The second baddy is actually a photographer who is disgruntled because he lands a job at the newspaper but Peter Parker being spiderman knows the supposedly photo is a fake so goes out of his way to prove it, comes across the strange object which turns him evil...and then a enemy of Spiderman.
Summing up...
This film is a great film for spidey fans but it is lacking a real decent story, there are some great action scenes and some great effects and some real funny moments in the movie, personally if you love Spiderman you will love this movie, if you dont its still watchable, but may not hold you for the full 2hrs 19mins.
