HD on a dreambox

i got one at xmas (pressie for myself).
didn't know they could handle/pickup hd stuff,
or are you using something else ?,
just ordered a hd telly so would be orgasmic if the 500 could show it !,

its a bit hit and miss with hd and the dreamboxes, they can't view HD broadcasts directly, but you can stream them to a pc and view them but it does suffer from pixalation. your best bet for HD viewing would be a Skystar2 (or a SS1 if you have the extra ££) and a good graphics card in your pc with a tv-out connection (or a DVI connector) :ok

am trying to sort out a pc for in the summer so might get a s*ystar card then,
does anyone in the forum build pc's?,
used to do my own many moons ago but lost track on the latest kit ,
and if i can give someone on the forum some business they are welcome to it !
