PSP playing psx games

hey all, i was wondering if anyone on here has a psp with custom firmware running PSX games. i have 3.03oe-c firmware and crash bandicoot to try out but dont know how to get it to load on my psp.

i have an eboot and a key file. i am guessing they have already been converted from iso or whatever

i take it that they are in a folder named something like slus***** (* being numbers) if so all u need to do is place that folder into ms0:\psp\game (ms0 being your memery stick). Once u done that goto game on ur psp scroll down to memory stick press the x button and there u should have ur game. If u have backed up copies of psp games place there iso or cso into ms0:\iso. Then same as before goto game, memory stick and press x.

i have just put the eboot files into a folder called whatever the game is called and stuck it onto the game150 folder. it loads then comes up with an error XXXXXXXXX

i'm running 3.10 oe a and i just put my psx eboot and bin files in a folder in my ms0:\psp\game folder as described above. the first couple of psx games i installed where in folders starting slus***** but tmatters to muchhe last game i installed which was tekken 3 was in a folder called tekken, so i don think the name of the folder

ah i got it working now :biggrin went on a forum called pspiso and it had a topic there about it. I found that if it is in the GAME150 folder it doesnt work but if its in the GAME folder it will

Sorry to but in, just got a psp and have been told by a freind to downgrade the version software to 1.5? not being well up on these any advice will be great! dont breally want to spend money on game if i can get them from *irate bay and such like!! thanks for any help dpm30

ok, what version system software is your psp? it can be found in the system setting part. It matters what system software you are running, nothing higher than 3.03 i hope :biggrin
