You may have to set up some port forwarding for P2P software such as Kazaar mate, but I wouldnt have thought so ..............
There's no reason why a router should stop you accessing any website though. Many people have been experiencing 'net problems the last few days .........

M8 i have or did have a similar problem accessing ebay and my local library and my online bank...
solution was to use a different proxy easily obtained by using some anonymous surfing software like
Hide Ip
or PC Mesh
Not had any problems since.

Do you meen you have changed from a modem on one computer to having a new router and two computers. Or one computer is working fine and the other is not?
If you meen the forma, then It might be the firewall stopping you, or part of the firewall options.
some routers are not by default P2P freindly (and a good job too)
Go here http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/app_port_list.htm
for a list of ports that need to be open for stuff like kazza.
I would really recomend you dont use Kazaa, if you do not understand what you are doing.
Please do not take this the wrong way, and I am not trying insulting you. Its just that if you do open the ports for any P2P and you leave them open into your Pc you are leaving your self wide open to attacks.
However if you do use it, make sure you do at least to things. Make sure you close the share down when not in use.
Make sure you ahve a dam good virus program runing, and while we are at it, a good adware program too. Doh thats three things LOL

are you using kazaalite ?
if so
goto tools/kazaupernodes
then at the bottom right corner of upernodes there's a tab (sometimes with a red cross over it) when highlighted it says click this if kazaa can no longer connect
click it then kazaa will restart and should connect
if your not using kazaa lite then do so
i never fwd ports for kazaa it works all the same :ok

people STILL using Kazaa, thats a damn nasty gateway for all kinds of sh*te, use limewire as this will connect thru a firewall or E-mule :ok
no idea about the halifax page, have you tried accessing it using a different browser?

thanx for that dave....ive started using limewire and files ars downloading but when i try to open them in wmp the format is not recognized but it is a wm format(it will play on the limewire though...i thought because it is basic limewire then maybe they have restricted it to only playing on their format, which brings me on to the second issue...when i clicked on upgrade to pro it was asking me to pay $19 which i didn,t mind due to the fact that im back downloading...but when i opted to pay through my paypal account its doing the same as it is doing with my online account!
thanks all for responce.
