not many new boards have 2 ide ports due to chipset limitations, but some are about, my asus p5nd2 sli has 2 ide sockets, as does my foxconn, also if you want a sli setup most of those boards are a bit more as well, rather than buying two cheaper cards, you might be better getting one good card, and then spending the extra on a better motherboard/ram

1. no need for sli at mo, unless you can pick a pair of cards cheaply
2. do you need duo2 6300, or would older dual core do???
3. any other parts need upgrading??? psu/ram
twin 7600gt's about £160
dx10 8800 gts £190, now what id rather get...........
something like this

and this would just keep in budget
