probably in the wrong forum but here goes mate, i went to a computer fair today in liverpool, bought a echolink 777 for £80 thought it good value set it up watched the footy and spotted some films but now they are scrambled, the man told me to come to this website to update but ive searched for a echostar but theres no mention of it on this forum, cheers in advanced

Are the channels in question the C+Cine or Taquilla channels by chance mate ? If so, they changed the keys this afternoon. The new ones are available but I dont know how you would enter them into the Echolink box. I'll ask Dicky (bloke from the fair) to explain how to do it tommorow :ok


PS: Welcome to the forum :ok

EDIT: Apparently, you need to goto menu/tools/key editor/nagra2/provider 4101 digital + and press ok. You then need to enter the new 32 figure key against the appropriate key index, either 00 or 01 and choose 'Save'. The latest key can be found in the file below:

keys section and the dvb card section under softcams

or click new posts and look for D+ in the title

worked fine yesterday came home today no channels signal strength 9% an lnb short on the menu screen any ideas anyone? have i got to get a new lnb?

Probably just a bad connection on the cable mate. Remove the ends and make sure that none of the outer strands are touching the inner core and then screw the ends back on. You may need to restart the box after doing so ...............

thanks macker refitted the f lead thingys and got the pictures back up but i noticed some channels are iffy and the signal strenth is down to 70% i will have to realign tonight, i reckon a bird has sat on my dish, probably a ostrich or summit:ok
