I've just set up my 360 and wired it to the router, given it its own ip address. its connected for sure, as i run a connection text and it oks the wired connection and the ip address, but then the 3rd one it oks seems to fail (PC). It mentions ports being enabled and i've gone into the settings and entered these in (ICP and UDP?). It still fails, but i've been on the xbox.com/pcsetup and installed Zune which is what it tells you to do on the website, but on the console it keeps mentioning Windows Media Connect. I've even installed WMP 11 and told it to share files but stillno joy. If anyone's been through the same problems, can you possibly help me out? Would be appreciated.

Thanks

andy

i don't like googling, but i have done and hey ho, this link takes you to where you need to go to get windows media center. i think its gone to that program Zune cos of my set up. go here anyway and get the appropriate one for your windows pc http://www.xbox.com/en-US/pcsetup/alldownloads.htm

I'm gonna try it tonight and hopefully i'll be streaming by tea-time!

mine working with xbox360

using a wirless network. Key thing you need media player 11 installed to be able to stream to your box. You also need to set the settings in media player to look for the right folders

hope this is some use

I DLed it then realised that it's an add on for media center to allow it to transcode unsupported formats. What I'm after is something I can install on server 2003 to do this. I already tried TVersity as recommended by Zaxxman but it's crashing too much for my liking. Anyone know of any other warez to try?
