line in not working

i wonder if anyone can help.got myself 5.1 soundcard,labtec. all works great.
BUT when i use audiograbber,or my capture card no sound records to pc
through line in i have checked in volume controls and it is activated
even if i capture using ulead4 it captures pic but no audio.

I've had this problem in the past with various souncards and always found it easier to use the mic input instead of the sound in, i know this is not really the best answer but its worth a try mate :ok

still dont work like that m8. with mic settings changed on all.pluged in to mic
even went through the wizard and it detected it but would not record it/or
capture audio. do you think i will have to change the jumper on the sound card.
because it says if you have any problems change these jumpers,i have no problem with the 5.1,maybe to capture you have to change these jumpers and vise verser.

all fine now had to lose my 3 year warranty to find out and open it up.everything works ok now thanks anyway.it was worth all the messing around.
