Hi all just been conned on e-bay my pda was selling for £200 when a prick who said he lived in INDIA bid £720 & won the bidding he then sent me a spoof paypal message confirming funds were ready to transfer to my account on confirmation of pda being sent to NIGERIA I sent a message to original bidder at £200 but cos he lost the bidding he had moved on to buy a pda of someone else so let this be a lesson to all. I have informed e-bay & paypal & the spoof bidder is no longer a member.

Got a mate who runs an ebay shop who mentioned this last Thursday. Same thing with spoof payments from Nigeria. There can't be many thicko people who would send out goods without checking their paypal acc. first

Moral of the story only ever sell to uk based ppl, too many scams from Nigerian ppl.

be carefull of who you buy off i have had a couple off ebay and loads off the loot and all from nigeria even went as far as sending me a cheque via ups all seemed legit but my better judgment payed off and i called the company on the cheque who confirmed it was a fraudulent cheque and reported to the police who said there is a massive fruad ring out there and if you send your things there is nothing they can do as the crime took place in another country also if i would have cashed the cheque even unknowingly i would have been charged with conspiracy to fraud so be carefull all
