hi im looking for some advice i am looking to buy a lcd/plasma tv hd ready about 42" in size looking to spend about £1000 has anyone got any recomendations of models etc and the best place to buy for your money

Hi m8 was in T.J.HUGHES yesterday buying a black glass tv stand for my 32"samsung lcd tv & noticed 3xpeople picking up 42"plasma tv's at the loading bay dont know what spec they were but the guy serving me said they were flying off the shelf cos of the price. Have you checked out RICHER SOUNDS?? they have some good deals or MARTIN DAWES.:ok

my phillips lcd is worth every penny i paid for it m8...but even cooler still is the one with the mood backlighting which i think can be got for what i paid for mine nearly 12 months ago
