Fishtank revisited !

Decided it was time I applied a little TLC to my tank so redone it this week. I found this new background 'stuff' ! All of the 'submerged log' type stuff you see is actually made of polystyrene and only cost £12 for 2 large pieces. It looks great in place. I left the mirrors in and left a small gap between them and the new background creating a nice little cave system for the 2 new Plecs I added and other shy fish to hide in. Also, when you now peer through the gaps in the background, the reflection from the mirrors creates a sort of peep hole effect to a whole new world ! lol

& here's one of the little Plecs I just added. Hope the fella wasn't lying when he said that this variety only grow to about 6"' !

certainly looks the biznis m8..i gave up trying to keep our water clean.. too many big fish producing too much waste in too small a tank:tsk

the mrs does her best cos she loves the fish more than she does me:redface:

but it just aint happenin...trying to convince her that we need a pond...now it might take a while but i will convince her:biggrin

i know there are 1 or 2 exceptions eg certain catfish but i think on the whole most fish limit their size according to their environment:icon14:

Dont think Plecs observe that rule mate ! If they do start to get too big, I can always sell them back to the shop and get some new ones .......... although I do have a spare 3ft tank here :biggrin hmmmmm !
