also on pacific poker, only for fun, tho we do have a card school once a month in the flat, £5 buy in winner takes all.. also can you get a proper poker game for the arcade, it would be cool to have a members only table :ok

also can you get a proper poker game for the arcade,

Already looked around for one mate, dont think it's possible although there is a Casino thing out there which may be worth a look ...............

Would be really good ! :icon14:

i've just had a quick look at yahoo poker, while the table layout is a bit naff, you can create your own tables, and only invited players can play.

we could maybe orginise a game for a certain date and time, and see how many are intrested, if all goes well then make it more often.

i don't mind orginising the first game to see how it goes :ok

@edit or even see if their is a comercial poker game that allows internet play, then we could all aquire a copy and use that :ok

Just played a game with the lads from another forum over at Ladbrokes. You can create a private table on there and it seems ok. Maybe we could set one up one night if enough of us are interested, maybe a $5 buy in tourny like they use ? Or I could have a word over there and see if they would mind us joining their game .................

Dave Mak
6th November 2006, 00:35
do they charge for private table's? if not lets get a few friendly game's orginised soon :ok
maybe even a forum Vs forum game, but i'm up for it either way

macker
6th November 2006, 08:49
forum Vs forum game

Yea, that could be cool. I dont think they charge for it, set a test one up last night and there was no mention of it, they just take a rake as usual ..........

If we play with a $5 buy in then thats all you can actually lose mate (about £3). Everyone gets given say 1500 in chips and you simply play until you run out :ok

puffpastry69
11th November 2006, 17:33
how/when/where do i make a deposit, i just don't see any tabs
i'm either blind/thick/stupid or all 3:redface:

and do i register a name before we play, if so on what page,
i'm either looking at the wrong page or i've finally lost the plot

thanx pp69:ok

Dave Mak
11th November 2006, 19:26
download the software, then create a new account, when your done it tells you how to make a deposit :ok

pity its not william hill as you can just go into one of there bookies and get a £10 poker voucher, like pay as you go credit for mobile's. just scratch the panel and enter it online.

wobblebottom
11th November 2006, 19:51
You can do a similar thing Dave with Ladbrokes.. its called Ukash, just go to shop and ask for Ukash voucher or E money.. and then enter the number on site - just like a phone top up.

:ok

Gutted and chuffed at the same time !
-------------------------------------------------

Drew my 1st ever straight flush last night and no-one had a high flush to bet against it so the pot was nowhere near what it could have been ............

The previous 2 hands were both won with full houses and the one after by 4 of a kind ! Next highest when I drew mine was 2 pairs :bash

puffpastry69
7th December 2006, 22:24
that's a kick in the danglies m8:mad:

did you go all in on the river

macker
7th December 2006, 23:10
Couldnt risk it mate, raised equal to the pot on the turn (about £3, wanted to give someone a chance to hit their flush !) and no-one seemed too keen. Raised about the same again on the river just to get everyone to put in and was waiting for a re-raise but never happened :bash

Ok, so how about a christmas game, maybe next Sunday ? I'll set up a private room and we'll have a laugh. The most you'll lose is $5. Who's up for it ?

as wobbs said a few posts up, you can use UKash with Ladbrokes, but you can get this from any shop that has a PayPoint Machine. here's a link to find the one closest to you :ok

I play paddy power, it is better for the offers. Also for all you footy fans, there is a new one about to come to the market called www.masters-poker.com they are going to be using sporting legends to host tables and tournaments. Keep your eye out for that one.
