need some advice on buying a projeter for my living room,needs to be able to connect to my dreambox and xbox 360 i would like to pay about £350 but have up to £500 and i would like to mount it on the ceiling in the living room.
Also i would like to know how people deal with the length of scart leads etc.
The more advice the better.

Forget scart, get a good quality componant 'phono type' connector and use that for the video feed. Wire the sound output into a dedicated system. For £350, you wont get a great projector mate, but try to get one with the highest 'lumans' rating possible as this generally gives you a brighter, sharper picture .........

great picture .very quite , also check out how long a bulb lasts . the one in this is 2000 hrs. and will cost around £300 to replace.
i also have blackout blinds fitted to give better picture quality . i use it on a 6 ft screen. the room it`s in is 25ft in length.

i conect to a denon avr - 1705 amp via rgb cable , that is around 15 to 20 ft and cost around £20 through celestion speakers .

i have to say if i can get a 70in plasma at a fair price i will.
