windows dos'nt ask me if i want to save the password for this site...it does with the old board & other sites...but not with this one...any tips...

ayup lads cmon its doin me bleedin head in .......after asking this question weeks ago i managed to stumble on the solution by accident, got it to ask me to save & did so recently cleared passwords & now got same problem again:bash

cant you just tick the box on the forum page? 'remember me'

in firefox tools/options/privacy and remember passwords

in IE tools/options/content/autocomplete user names and passwords on forms
also tick prompt for passwords

@joe.....yes m8 can do that but that option only lasts till temp cache is cleared but thanks for input

@ target ...yes m8 already done all that & cleared passwords in order to make sure i hadnt just hit the no option on our site but no, it just wont ask me to save on this site for some unknown reason....as i said ive actually stumbled across the solution once before but it was a pure fluke & i'm buggered if i can remember what it was:biggrin
