help needed

Hi can anyone help me with my pc problem ? when I watch film clips from the internet/play games or watch any progs on my sat system I get the dreaded blue screen with the following message :- CM AUDIO.SYS-address f71a320a base at f7170000 datestamp 3dd89c0b it is driving me mad & the footy season is upon us so need to fix asap. I have tried system restore points from up to 2 months ago but nothing fixes the problem have any of you had a simillar problem ?

Have you got C-Media on board sound mate ? If so, it sounds like the drivers are corrupted. Try uninstalling and re-installing them .................

Hi macker sorry I have not replied been at the pub all weekend helping my son, his digialb card still has'nt kicked in even though he has left it set to 16east & tuned to a digialb channel, getting back to my pc problem not sure if I have got what you suggested installed but will look at it tonight as I have to pop out just now.
