hi carl if u have never opened a d500 b4 they r quite tricky i no a few people who have there own mobile phone shops and found it hard broke a new screen fitting it..just b careful with the ribbon they split very easy..gud luck mate..:ok :ok

Heres the Service Manual for the D500 mate. It shows an exploded view of the components. i've followed this to change a screen on a d500 before.
