Advice Please

Ok at weekend my folks bought this...

now they are after either a Sub & Speaker set.. or Home Cine system.. they already have a DVD but not 5.1 capable..

is this any good...?

They are also after a Remote scart Switch box..as they are one scart short on telly to operate all VHS/DVD/ NTL/inbuilt Freeview etc.. and universal remote..

Which one would be best to hook up on RF (freeing up Scart socket)????? VHS & DVD hardly used..


Also would it make a difference to pic clarity if i changed the aged scart leads to new ones(gold etc..) the Freeview pic is top notch but the NTL is lesser quality..and slightly more pixelated.. any ideas...

The Hd aspect of the TV not top perogative atm but can x that bridge when time comes..

Your ideas and advice are appreciated..

are they not happy with the pic quality then?

lcd's only really shine when viewing digital tranmitions or even better,hd broadcasts or media

if the pic qual was ok with old leads then it should be ok on new screen but i picked a couple of fairly well made gold leads in asda the other day for about 3 & half quid:ok
