Hi Everybody
hope somebody can shed a bit of light onto this wee problem.
My pc keeps swithching itself off after a couple of mins, then it just wont load
properly at all.
I run AVG which doesn't report anything.
It always turns itself off when i have the digi camera d/loading, i only ever manage to get
about 4 pics off the smart card, then the pc re-boots.
thanx in advance

you also get this problem from having overworked psu, how many usb devices you you have plugged in to the pc at once, try unplugging them all and only have the camera plugged in. the usb devices put a big strain on bog standard psu's, the old bt frog modems caused this all the time as they drew silly ammounts of power :ok

Get yourself a decent psu, im surprised by the number of ppl who use cheapo psu
I use a Hiper Modular PSU 580 (true) comes in a nice handy toolbox(which Macker likes:biggrin ) and and can add and remove power cables or extensions as you need them so you have only got what u need inside the pc.
Make sure specially with the weather we are having you have enough ventilation inside your pc, also dont suppose you are tyrying to overclock your cpu if so may be down to that as well...
