ive heard a bit about it from my son he says it has no hard drive in it and you can only get the fta channels on hd like bbc1 for now so if you want to watch any of the sky fta hd channels you are out of luck

I have bought one of these boxes and it's a sat HD receiver not a tv, I get HD chanels that are free to air and BBC HD world cup programs, the only problem I have found is that if I conect it via the HDMI socket the picture has spikes and odd flashes on the screen and the sound breaks up to, if i connect it via the componant input and output the sound to my surround amp everything is fine. I did take the first box back as I thought it was faulty but the replacement was exactly the same, it seems to be either a compatibility issue with my Panasonic 42 inch plasma or maybe a software issue with the Humax box. I am waiting for a reply from Humax tech re the problem before I e-mail Panasonic. can't recommend it yet until the problem is fixed.
