hi guys lookin for a camara to record my car at night. someone put a brick through the windscreen the other night. so i want some thing to put onto the house and record onto a vcr. or harddrive anyone got any good ideas tx

@john, easy way is to get cheap dvr card & camera off ebay, (my card was £14)
fit it to you computer and away you go, all done in about a hour.

if you look for some NVT's as well you can use CAT5 for the camera and run video & power down it

maplins sometimes do offers on their dvr's but normally come without hard drives, so extra cost involved

yes mate, just they arnt as great, need to keep replacing batteries, cost more, other people can watch them as well........

some time just as cheap (if not cheaper ) to go hard wired
