ive got a new tomtomxl iq routes its been working great for a week now on the opening screen its showing the tomtom image with a red cross and an image of the drive at the bottom ive tried reset by pressing the start button for 15 seconds writing comes up and it restarts exactly the same anyone know whats wrong or how to fix it

ring their support line mate when i google tomtom red cross I get loads of results
and loads of different reasons for why it did it


they should walk you over how to fix it on the phone step by step

right sorted it so heres how if anyone has the same prob

1.connect device to comp
2 when tomtom home starts dont update instead press back
3 go to my tomtom manager in the options or next page
4 delete everything on device
5 delete everything computer page
6 then go to update my device
7 reinistall all updates needed
8 safely remove device
should all be reinstalled and working
