Ok a movie comes along every so often and the hype is over the top and then you get to see the movie and it doesnt live up to the hype and it`s a let down...but is that the case for Inception.

Leonardo DiCaprio stars as Dom Cobb a thief but with a difference in this world extractors exist and they can get into your dreams and get to your secrets Dom Cobb is the best and through a experiment with his family he loses the most treasured thing to him his wife, and it is constantly on his mind he goes to places in his dream to be with her.

However because of his loss he is a wanted man and had to flee his home.

Cobb is hired to find out what Robert Fischer, Jr. (Cillian Murphy) is going to do when his father dies who happens to be the owner of one of the largest energy companies in the world, he has to get into his head into his dreams..

The Movie isnt quiet what you expect it is a very good movie and good story but not as many special effects as you expect it can become complicated because in some stages of the movie , they are in a dream having a dream in a dream etc but if you sit down and watch it from the word go and do not move, you will or should get the story etc if you dont and you go get popcorn etc you may not quiet get it.

It`s like the matrix whats real what isnt etc...

Overall it`s a great movie and probably going to be one of the biggies of the year along with The Expendables and Harry Potter.

Thanks Imcal for the review.

your review has me thinking a movie that needs a few viewings to understand
it properly, or does it all become clear at the end?:confused

I never used to like lenny capco, but i think he's mostly ok now.

Can you tell he's acting in this one ?

or is he believable?

If you got the Matrix the first time around like i did, i think you are ok, because when i go and watch a movie i hate being disturbed by anyone and try not to miss a thing, however if like a few of my friends and relatives couldnt get the matrix until the 2nd/3rd viewing you may struggle with this, it does flash from reality to dream etc quiet a bit, and i know what you mean about decap the man eo i often dont like him..he is ok in this one.

So as some one who has never seen any of the matrix films would it help or hinder to view them first therefor before watching Inception?.

Or am I still suffering from being confused by the last episode of Doctor Who last month to understand what should be a fairly basic story line but seems more complex with each viewing or the more you think about the storyline?.

No m8 the Matrix has nothing to do with this film. I just use the Matrix as a film that a few people couldnt understand at first then once it sunk in it became a classic etc.

Personally if you dont grasp films right away m8, wait for it to become available so you can watch it a few times at home.
