hi all ive just got the linksys broadband router with 2 phone ports [RT31P2 model] it came with a ethernet lead power supply i have just put a ethernet card in my pc and on the back where the phone ports are they dont seem to fit my standard phone jacks will i need a lead if so what one and do i have to use this with vonage

basicley what ive got is a desktop with broadband and i am usein voip cheap all is fine and dandey but i carnt seem to plug me phone in it ?????? my head is battered any clue anyone ??? pppllllzzzzz

All you need to connect the pc to your router is a network cable mate ......

hi m8 ive put the cable in the my ethernet card ive got but i only got it for the phones mainley voip so i can put my house phone via the router ????

you probably need rj11 adapters

something like these, cheaper a computer fair, or see if anyone has some old ones from a modem

i think it is the one on the back of the router its like a standared phone socket but bigger

just looked on the site, an dyou need one of the items i posted first, that goes in router & your phone plugs into that, BUT it means you only have a voip phone, without using normal phone line, and these talk about vonage??? and requiring a password from them???? is that same on your info
