Hi,
i have just fixed a laptop for someone, all working now but he has asked me if I can make it all into 1 partition, can this be done without wipeing and reinstalling Vista.

I wouldn't change it just in case it messed with the windows vista recovery
process it shouldn't do but who knows

yes by using partition magic or some such tool, there are quite a few.

but unless the vista partition is silly small, then tell him that this is the best way to have your hard drive as it makes data easier to save when re-installing, upgrading your os or backing up cos of a virus attack.
