where i can beg steal or borrow a copy of or something simmilar to a dvd for repairing clocks

its just one of those things i always wanted to do, well now ive done it, i bought a couple of clocks, one of which i bought with the knowledge of it being a good quality clock & the other i bought as to be be my first experiment/ victim :biggrin

but on taking delivery of the cheaper of the two clocks i discovered to my delight is the same movement as the dear one but only in better condition:biggrin

you got it, a result

anyway crow over ..is any of our number already into horology or failing that, some of our more prolific file sharers might be able to help? :ok

Your local library should have or can get summat on the subject; after which, you'll have a good idea how most timepieces do their stuff.

Try You tube!!

The Clock Of Life

The clock of life is wound just once
and no one has the power
too tell just when the hands will stop;
on which day or which hour.
Now is the only time you have.
So, live it with a will.
Don't wait until tomorrow;
the hands may then be still.
