Mine dropped on my door mat Saturday morning delivered from pc world at a cost of £44.99 ordered earlier on in the year.
Anyone else had their copy sent early?, i also got a new ps3 250gb Uncharted 2 pack from Game delivered last wednesday and have only just discovered the pack came out today and the game came out Friday.
All to do with the post strike companies are sending stuff early.

I really like it myself (I downloaded the RTM version can use it for 90days without activation then I will slap a crack on it see how long I get)
have it dual boot with xp and to be honest I haven't booted into xp since having it.
it has some problems but so did xp before sp1

I have vista on 1 machine and xp on the others including this one.
7 beta looked a far better Os than Vista complete, i hope theyve learned that, all looks doesnt make it good.

their are cracks for it about should look on torrent sites for them
the 30 day thing can be reactivated 3 times so you wait till you have 1-3 days left
then use this guide to reset it back to 30 days again

Dont forget guys if youre using win7 use this to increase boot up times..
Type msconfig in the little search box at the bottom of the program menu (its the search box when u click on the windows icon bottom left corner etc)
Click Boot highlight windows 7 if it isnt highlighted
click advanced options
tick the number of processers option
max this (im using 4 - this will depend on your cpu installed if only 1 is there sorry this wont help you..) this will use all 4 to load the programs etc hence a quicker boot up etc.
Ok - then ok and reboot.

using XP more and more as days go by
windows 7 is really starting to annoy me.
can't get my sound blaster to work as good as it does under xp
creative are crap at drivers , I doubt I will buy another card from them.
and explorer keeps crashing :icon17:

I dont like creative for that reason drivers and same with nforce graphics cards the drivers never work properly.

managed to sort my sound card out :biggrin so I like win7 again now
some guy on the creative site mods the creative drivers and software
so it actually works (something creative haven't mastered yet, well they have but they don't want you to have it ...they want you to buy another card ).
Daniel_k's drivers open up everything i had under XP so am well happy now

also I think my crashing of explorer was due to my phone bluetooth
but i am still trying to work it out

Personally i do prefer win 7 over everything else xp, vista etc reason i havent so far had any majory heaedaches caused by vista or xp, i just get the odd problem like the 64 version of explorer and not having flash for it, any programs that have crashed hasnt dragged the system down unlike when a program crashed in xp i would sometimes have to reset the pc etc.
Ive had just a few little annoyances but have managed to switch, mod or remove them altogether etc.
Im thinking about installing it on my touchscreen jukebox because win7 is touchscreen friendly etc.

I find seven faster than XP but I still have XP installed in a dual boot just incase :biggrin
(very easy to do ) all you do is Split your hard drive into 2 partitions
install XP first then win7on the other partition and win7 does the rest
when you boot you will be asked what version you want to use.
I avoided for 64bit version myself all I had to gain was half a GB of ram that I would never use anyway, 3.5GB is loads for the computing I do.
