I dont really see the point in anything above 19 inch (which is what my size is) as the resolution is the same (upto and above 22 inch probably) but the cost really starts to escalate when you hit the 21 inch mark I feel!.

to be honest Dave I dont think it looks that big cos its wide screen. I though it would be great for porn as it is 1910x1080 lol

The movies look stunning on it and I thought £120 was really cheapo.

that acer one looks nice mate :ok

@pp here's the link to it Linky (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/23-Acer-V233Hb-Black-Widescreen-TFT-Monitor-1920x1080-300cd-m2-400001-(dynamic)-5ms-Height-Adj)

i use a 32" sammy for my monitor and its sweet for everything, pc, dm7020 and a dbox2 all connected to it.
its only fault is that i'm limited to a resolution of 1360x768 for gaming which is a little on the low side for my liking, but until i sort my graphics card out, it's fine :ok

Why dont you connect it with dvi to hdmi cable then you can get 1920x1080. thats how I have mine set up superb

Come to think of it our 32" hd telly has pc input, might try the gf's laptop on it out of interest to see how it looks. But as DM said the tv's have a low res compared to what pc monitors can go upto.

i 'm using a DVI-D to HDMI cable, i can go up to 1920x1080 but its simulated.
while its ok for films, its very noticable when gaming and is a bit of a distraction, writing becomes fuzzy screen doesn't fit the monitor etc, etc,..

a mate had a toshiba 32" and i thought it was the better tv, better pic better menu system. :ok

Been using all day at work with no problems very pleased with it. My boss wants another 2 just cos they look smart lol. Even though they are 23" they are all screen no much border so they dont look too big.

Only one problem though it does not have dv or hdmi inputs but if you are just after a vga connection you are sorted.
