iPhone

i am thinking of getting an iphone anyone using one and are they any good, i have read they can be unlocked to most networks.

or if anyone has one for sale :ok let me know.

I was seriously tempted by the iPhone mate, but decided on the HTC Hero instead because of the fact that it runs the Android OS and the open source nature of 3rd party apps.

I also prefer the look and feel of the Hero to the iPhone, but thats just a personal thing ...........

yeah have to say that phone macker has is quite smart you should have a look at them .....the touchscreen seemed really responsive

Brummie, got an iphone 3gs, and must say its a damned nuisance as am finding it difficult to stop using it.... may even lead to binning off the laptop at some point as using it less and less.
Great fun aas well as being permanent connectivity to t'interweb, i think i saw you had jailborken an ipod so you know how that goes.
Mine still running apple s/ware as havent really decided if I want to jailbreak it yet

thanks for the reply, after playing with the apps and stuff on this ipod i thought it was amazing so with a phone aswell, like you said the laptop is getting made redundant,i would not jailbreak your phone if its still under warranty.

i think i'm gonna look on ebay for one :biggrin

My brother as just been offered a upgrade to the HTC hero but he was waiting for his contact to run out in October so hew could move to vodafone and get a iphone 3gs The thing is he doesn't know what to do now as he doesn't know which would be the better phone
