Jailbreaking An IPod iTouch

as anyone jailbreaked there ipod itouch and is it worth doing, i understand you can download free apps games etc!

as far as i know it the apple os wont let you use 3rd party apps and there are loads of them so to jailbreak is the only way to use them


and simply factory resetting the phone with set it right back to normal so myself i would look about find the safest way an have ago

yes you can mate jailbroke it today amazing, can download loads of stuff apps games etc! for free :icon7:

my daughter has been going on about these ipod touch for a while and i was thinking of getting her one for Christmas now the price has seamed to drop.

couple of questions

can you put music ( mp3 ) and video on it or has it got to be stuff from apple :ok

what is this jail break , is it safe to do and will it effect the warranty

yes mate you can put mp3, videos, photos, apps, games etc! etc! even use the internet msn messenger loads of stuff they have wifi, the newer nano as a camera the first ipod to have one but a small screen.

if you jailbreak it you can download games apps etc! for free, im not sure if you can jailbreak the nanos but you can on all the iPod iTouches 1st 2nd and 3rd generation upto firmware 1.3.0 the newer firmware 1.3.1 cant be jailbreaked yet.

you can put all your own mp3's on it with itunes, but there is other software around aswell for adding music and backing it up.
