Just wondering if we could create a list of places where we can take the youngsters during the school hols because theyre almost up on us...
So Guys n Gals.... where have you been?, whats Local to you?, how much is admission etc.
Some of places i went during the last big school holidays....
Old Trafford (MuFc)
Great couple of hours being taken around the ground into the dressing rooms and looking at the museum, nephew and myself are United fan`s so we loved it price was around £20 for the 2 of us this didnt include getting their via metro etc.. food and drink can be costly in the club but there are a few chippy`s and shops around the corner which were just great!.

Leicester Space Museum
Situated a couple of miles from Leicester is the space museum , a great few hours were spent in here, i was a little bored after a while but 2 boys really enjoyed this place, a few hands on things in here along with real and replica space rockets and a 3d cinema(extra cost).
£12.72 for adults
£10.77 for kids
Family tickets are available PLUS if you sign a form you can turn the day ticket into a yearly ticket etc...

Sealife Centre Birmingham
Get up close with the fish and underwater creatures at the sealife centre Birmingham situated roughly 10minutes walk from New Street, the kids love this place but teenagers and myself were bored silly and after just 27minutes we decided that enough was enough and left, there just simply wasnt enough to keep up occupied.
Prices varied and vouchers could be used and if you book online its cheaper etc..

Bradford National Media Museum
We all enjoyed this day out , a chance to see how cinema and tv works and to get up close to special effects it was a fun day out and they have a imax and some great movies to watch on the big screen with prices at around £1 to see classics like E.T etc, it took us about 3-4hrs to do the musuem and get to watch classic episodes of the young ones and grange hill.
Price was free but you had to pay for simulators , Imax and other stuff but majority of it was free.

York Train Museum
This is a musuem with a majority of old and modern trains on display you get to get up close and personal with some really nice looking trains , the place is very packed during school holidays but it is so simple to get to, York Train Station over the far side and youre there..and on certain days the steam trains are a must although there is a charge for this
Great day out and its free entry accept for the rides etc..
