Ok i sat down and watched a movie the other night and was gobsmacked..

This film was so realistic it was brilliant in my opion...

A couple go away for the weekend to escape the city - they end up at a disused quarry a beautiful location, all is well until the local kids turn up.

What happens next is - well lets just say pure evil and its not so far fetched its believable.

This is probably the best film ive seen in ages i deffo would give it 4 out of 5.

Hi

M8 i watched this some weeks back , and have to say if it wasn`t for the ending i would give it 5/5 .. but will also go 4/5 .

Eden lake to me is what a horror film should be about .. and that is something that shows people what can and does happen in life .

it shows just how far humans will go to get a kick , and not feel any remorse for their actions .

fantastic film .. if you had to hide behind the sofa watching Dr who .. make sure you don`t watch this alone .

oh and don`t go camping :ok

Just another slashfest film with little storyline or plot and an awful ending. I hated the way the gang leader was depicted at the end with his 'Trophy'. These films are ten a penny and require little or no imagination from the writers/directors.
Dreadful.

I found starwars boring, but like u said each to their own good job really or there would only be 1 football club, 1 flavoured ice cream, 1 kind of trouser , and so on....

I never liked the star wars films either. And I think I might be the only person on the pllanet that didnt like the green mile. As you say, each to their own, I just thought eden lake gave the wrong impression at the end that the bad guys can win, and thats not something we need to portray in film.:icon7:

i liked Eden Lake maybe because it does show not all is good . And make people more aware of the fact there are some sick twisted people out there ..

i watch something like that and 8mm with N.Cage and thing fcuk that is going on somewhere now .. and what goes around often comes around .

Rog :ok
